Donations are always welcomed by the SIPES Foundation to continue scholarship awards, seminars and educational programs. Scholarships
The Foundation awards scholarships annually to upper-division and graduate students studying earth science. Since its inception in 1981, the Foundation has awarded more than half a million dollars to 291 outstanding students. Applications are accepted each year from students majoring in any earth science, geophysics, petroleum or geological engineering who are enrolled in a U.S.-based university or college, have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher and are U.S. citizens. Application forms are available online in January.
